Good Carb / Bad Carb

All carbs aren’t created equal, you have some GOOD carbs, and you have some carbs that you should try to avoid throughout the week.

Bad carbs are inside candy bars, fast food, white bread, white rice and any food that is more a product of factories than of the soil; foods that have been so overly processed – fiber stripped, nutrients stripped, water squeezed out, fat added, salt added, sugar added, calories added.

  1. It’s not recommended to consume more than 135 carbs a day (depending on your goals and assessment).
  2. Try to eat most of your carbs early in the day.
  3. And taper off before dinner. Your last set of carbs should come during lunch.

Here’s a few GOOD CARBS:

  • Oatmeal
  • Legumes
  • Whole wheat bread
  • Black beans
  • Quinoa
  • Bananas
  • Sweet Potato
  • Apples
